Devlog (10-02-2024 to 10-09-2024)


Development Team

  • Implemented fish-catching logic for the osprey
  • Improved river spline generation
  • Experimented with water shader
  • Implemented basic game UI
  • Implemented basic game states (death, respawn, winning)
  • Extended game map and created a complete level

Upcoming Goals: 

  • Enhance river generation with more variations in depth, width, and surrounding environments. 
  • Fix water blocks on the map and integrate water shader into the main map
  • Integrate new assets from the arts and audio team


Audio Team

  • Updated list of required audio assets with help from CS team
  • Updated underwater ambience track
  • Completed Osprey Warning SFX + Osprey Carry Away music track

Upcoming Goals:

  • Creating looping music tracks for Stage 1 + 2 of Level 3


Art Team

  • finished all the props modelling on land in stage 3
  • stage 3( with texture)
  • finished salmon’s modelling and rigging
  • bear’s model revise

Upcoming Goals:

  • salmon animation
  • finish bear’s modelling
  • props revise
  • finish stage 3 riverbed modelling
